Join our 8 weeks weekend Mindfulness course with experienced teacher Mairead O'Keeffe to learn stress coping mindfulness techniques

Start date: Saturday 29th of September for 8weeks (except Bank Holiday weekend) plus one full day of Mindfulness practice

Time: 2pm-4pm

Being mindful means being fully present in the here and now. It is the practise of slowing down and paying attention - so that we don’t miss the precious moments in our lives and can equally learn to deal more effectively with those times that may be stressful.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an eight week programme created and pioneered in the USA by Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn. Studies have shown that committed participation in an MBSR course can often lead to lasting positive effects on health and well-being. This 8-week course will introduce participants to different forms of mindful practise, including sitting meditation, body awareness and gentle mindful movement. As the emphasis is on bringing mindfulness into everyday life, home practice will be an important part of the course.

Price: €250 includes eight two hours sessions (approximately 35eur per session) + free course notes, two CDs with recorded practices and a full day of mindfulness practice
