Hand Reflexology session
This lovely treatment uses gentle pressure on various reflex points on the hand.
These points correlate to points on the body and when worked using gentle pressure stimulate and balance the whole referral zone in the body.
This treatment is very relaxing and can help support health and balance.
Hand Reflexology can also be used if someone can’t have a Foot Reflexology treatment – for whatever reason such as your personal preference, a skin problem, injury or loss of limb.
There are some people that Reflexology is not suitable for, these include include if you have;
Any contagious foot disease – such as athlete’s foot, verrucas, warts or any infection of the feet. If you have a fever or contagious or infectious disease, if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you have a history of miscarriage and the current pregnancy is unstable pregnancy. If you are receiving radiotherapy on your foot or leg – Hand reflexology may be a better option for you with permission from your oncologist. Trauma to the foot or ankle 72 hours prior to treatment.
If you are under a GP’s care for your health, you may need permission form your GP to proceed with a Reflexology treatment. This is a case by case basis – if you are unsure please contact us for more information, we can have a chat and go from there.
