Dear Mammas, please note that it is best to start a pregnancy yoga class after the first trimester of your pregnancy, that is, after 14 weeks. During the first trimester, your body is going through many changes. Rest and relaxation are recommended during this time until energy levels have returned to normal.

Pilates

Once you have completed your first trimester of pregnancy you can venture on your pilates journey. In pilates practice it’s important to listen to your body and modify accordingly.

Know that there are some exercises you can’t do while pregnant, but there are also a lot you can do. Be mindful and moderate—and don’t push yourself.
