The Drama Den

The Drama Den is a creative fun space in Donabate where children (6-12) can explore their imaginations through DRAMA, IMPROVISATION, POETRY and SELF EXPRESSION.

The classes will take a mindful approach encouraging the children to express their thoughts and feelings while cultivating kindness for themselves and others through drama and creativity. All kids are welcome, especially those who need to gain confidence in speech and self expression.

The Drama Den was founded in 2021 by Áine Dilleen. Áine is a Royal Irish Academy of Music qualified Speech and Drama teacher with a BA honours in Theatre & English and is also undergoing an IMMA accredited Creative Mindfulness for Kids course. She is a member of the Speech and Drama Teachers of Ireland and PAEI.

*Character and story creation
*Storytelling and playwriting
*Mindful breathing
*Movement
*Speech and effective communication
*Exploring Monologues, Prose and Poetry

Wednesday 6-9years - 4.45pm-5.45pm
Saturday 10-12years - 5pm-6pm
