Nurturing Body & Mind Through Compassion
Online Talk + Yoga Class + Q&A session

Some of the best things we can share with the world are love and compassion. Join us for this inspiring event where we will give you science-based insights on how to boost your wellbeing through compassion, followed by a gentle yoga session suitable for all levels.
Dr. Camila Perussello, author of Food for Thought (@Lantern Publishing & Media, 2022), will explain how our food choices are deeply connected to our physical, mental, cultural and environmental health. A 30-minute talk will be followed by a short session of Q&A. Then Magda Dzieciuchowicz (yoga teacher & therapist) will use the tools of mindful movement, breath and meditative relaxation to connect us with our heartspace – this most sweet, forgiving and compassionate place within us. The yoga session will last another 30 minutes.

About us
Camila Perussello, PhD, is a Food Scientist and author. A former researcher at the Irish Food and Agriculture Development Authority, she now consults for the food industry helping companies transition away from animal use. Dr. Perussello has published dozens of academic papers and book chapters on food engineering and agricultural science. She also serves as a peer-reviewer for over 20 renowned scientific journals. She is the author of Food for Thought, a science-based book on the intersection of food production, animal rights, and a wide range of humanist issues. Magda Dzieciuchowicz is a Yoga Teacher and Holistic Therapist for both children and adults. She loves nature, which made her choose the path of yoga, veganism and holistic health. Her curiosity about the world and the nature of human hearts and minds leads her to a never-ending journey of learning, exploring and studying the secrets of life.
