If you're stiff, new to yoga, recovering from injury, looking for a gentle practice, or simply looking to slow down and find relief from the stress of daily life, then Hatha Yoga is the yoga for you. 

Join Córa on the mat to move through yoga postures with a focus on breath and mindful movement. All levels of experience and abilities are welcome, including total beginners. All classes are slow, with an awareness to alignment and breath, deepening the experience of stretching to build strength and flexibility. Bring along a mat, a few blankets and pillows, and a belt if you have one.

Classes are at your own pace, with the support of props, with expert anatomy-led instruction.

We celebrate the upcoming return of light, the winter solstice, with this slow, nourishing yin yoga practice followed by a deeply relaxing sound bath. 

This is the perfect time of year to pause and give yourself the time and space to rest and restore your body, mind and spirit before the busy christmas season. 

We begin with a short meditation to help quieten the mind followed by yin yoga, a slower, gentler style of yoga where we hold the poses for longer periods of time, encouraging stillness and inviting ourselves to turn inwards and reconnect with the sensations of the body.

The slowing down and mindfulness of yin yoga, calms the nervous system, alleviating stress and tension while improving energy flow and restoring equilibrium and balance. 

We finish our practice with the soothing sounds of the Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, drums and other instruments. This will further engage your nervous system promoting a deep sense of relaxation and peace.

Restorative Yoga involves the use or props to support the body to completely relax.

It is a way of really resting your body and allowing the body and mind to open up.

Restorative Yoga provides a complementary space for both physical and mental relaxation. We can just be - with no agenda or expectation.

Restorative Yoga can also be used as a meditation. We softly move our spines in different directions and include some gentle inversions which reduce our blood pressure. It stimulates and soothes our organs depending on the posture.

It is a quiet, slow practice and our use of props allows us to progress into deeper states of relaxation & gentle opening.

This allows us to get in touch with our body mind connection and puts us firmly on the path for relaxation, management and reduction of our stress. We move towards health and wellbeing.

What’s not to love?!

This is suitable for all levels including beginners.

Prepare to unwind!

Dress comfortably, bring a yoga mat, water, 3 blankets & have no expectations of yourself. Just be.

This is a quiet, slow, contemplative practice that compliments a busy lifestyle or regular yoga practice & other sports.

Yin Yoga improves flexibility, reduces stress, improves emotional, mental health & well being.

We work deep into the fascia through a series of floor postures, which we hold for several minutes - with compassion (it’s not an endurance test!).

Yin Yoga gently challenges people & every posture will explore different aspects of that. You don’t have to be flexible to try this!

A regular Yin yoga practice will really help your flexibility, understand why certain postures are more accessible to you than others and work towards moving those barriers or accepting those limitations - improving awareness that can be carried into your general yoga practice.

Take the time to stretch, lengthen & let go of anything that no longer serves you.
Spend time getting to know your body & your mind.

This is suitable for all levels, including if you’ve never tried Yoga.

Have no expectations of yourself- just stretch & breathe.

Join Nikki for an introductory workshop to Iyengar Yoga. We will go through various poses during the workshop finishing off with relaxation in a guided Savasana.

This workshop is suitable for beginners to general level students with a strong emphasis on precision, alignment and attention to detail. 

It is ideal for beginners as there is a slower pace to focus on how to come into each pose correctly and what you are doing while in each pose bringing more physical awareness of the body.

For general level students they can develop their practice and progress further into more advanced variations of each pose. Just bring along a yoga mat and we’ll supply the rest.

Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra (In-person & Online)

Deep Rest & Guided Meditation

Restorative Yoga is a deeply restful practice using props, blankets, soft lighting, in silence, or with very gentle rhythmic music. Yoga Nidra combines guided meditation and visualisation while lying in Savasana also known as Corpse Pose.

The class promotes a state of deep relaxation of the body, while inviting participants to continue to be aware of surroundings. When joining me online your practice should be in a warm, comfortable, and darkened space (as much as is possible depending on your environment).

Generally I suggest that that you practice in silence while I provide the guided meditation, but if that feels too much, then playing some gentle music in the background in your room is absolutely fine. (You will be on mute so the choice is yours).

The invitation is to practice in soft lighting, or to experience some comfort around the eyes, during savasana you may use an eye pillow, or a rolled up face cloth over the eyes can work just as well.

For Savasana, corpse pose, using plenty of supports is really important. Using a blanket under the body can provide warmth to your back, and using a bolster or pillow under the knees can alleviate any discomfort in the back. Whether you're joining from a mat on the floor or from your bed, have a low pillow or folded blanket under the head. And then finish it off with a warm and comfortable blanket over the top. Having layers and comfy socks will ensure you don't cool down too much, as we will be staying here in this position for at least an hour.

You can expect to feel great relief from emotional exhaustion as well as physical ailments when practicing Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra regularly. However, if you are in early stages of grief, currently experiencing strong emotional or physical difficulties, it may be wiser to chat directly to see if the timing is right for you to attend. More active movement as with Hatha, or a more present wakeful mindfulness class may be more appropriate for this moment in time. Contact me if you'd like to learn more.

Every Saturday at 10.30am except 18th of March & 1st of April

A new 4 week course commencing on the 11th of March. Suitable for all levels. This is Vinyasa Yoga style practice whereby no experience is needed just you as yourself whatever way that is. In this 4 week course Zara will be continuing doing the chakra yoga flow including throat chakra, the third eye chakra and the crown chakra, the 4th week will be focusing on back bends and working towards the splits. All yoga flows will start with setting a positive intention followed by vinyasa flow and finishing in a dreamy shavasana state with tranquil music to guide us there. Zara likes to give at least up to 10 minutes in shavasana as she feels it is so important for each of us to experience longer rest after a beautiful flow. She can't wait for the month of March and hopes it will be full of smiles good experiences for everyone! She is looking forward to see you on the mat!

Dr. Camila Perussello, author of Food for Thought (@Lantern Publishing & Media, 2022), will explain how our food choices are deeply connected to our physical, mental, cultural and environmental health. A 30-minute talk will be followed by a short session of Q&A. Then Magda Dzieciuchowicz (yoga teacher & therapist) will use the tools of mindful movement, breath and meditative relaxation to connect us with our heartspace – this most sweet, forgiving and compassionate place within us. The yoga session will last another 30 minutes.

Camila Perussello, PhD, is a Food Scientist and author. Gentle restful yoga with focus on alignment and breath

Class Schedule: Monday 6.30pm-7.30pm

A purely restorative class with mindfulness awareness practiced throughout. This practice is a powerful exercise in slowing down, sitting comfortably with silence, getting to know how you’re really feeling without judgement or criticism. Guiding you through 3-4 poses over the full hour, you engage with the parasympathetic nervous system to stimulate the “rest & digest” response to bring balance back if you’re currently overwhelmed, anxious, or worn out.

Moving through poses slowly, holding restorative poses for a little longer than normal to allow the body time to rest and release tension, anxiety and stress in the body. You just need your mat, 4-5 pillows, 3-4 blankets, and if you have an eye pillow, small towel, or a hood to cover over the eyes. Use props to support the body and allow nervous system to rest and restore.

Suitable to all levels including total beginners.
