Press Pause - Mindfulness and Compassion with Laura

Time: 11am to 12.30pm

This workshop will be an opportunity to experience practices in mindfulness and compassion. Cultivating acceptance and self-compassion for our habitual patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours has been shown to enhance mental wellness. You will be guided through various practices including practices that can be easily integrated into your busy days.

About Laura:

Laura works as a clinical psychologist and is a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland. She has been practicing mindfulness for the last nine years. She has worked in psychological services for the past ten years and has seen the benefits of practicing mindfulness and compassion through her therapeutic work and through her own personal practice. She formalised her mindfulness teaching skills by training with the Mindfulness Association and the Sanctuary. She hopes to guide attendees through practices that will support them to foster compassion, curiosity, and acceptance.
